Members Portal

The Members Portal is the access point through which Members can coordinate their travel plans, book flights, manage their profile, interact with other Members, etc.

While Members are compromising to a certain extent in terms of travel flexibility in order to enjoy the cost savings and other benefits of semi-private travel, their Members Portal will provide the ultimate in convenience and simplicity. Intuitive, user-friendly interface design combined with innovative visual tools make using the Social Air system a breeze. There are a several key features within the Members Portal that enhance the experience and separate Social Air from any other form of travel.

Trip Request

Every airline and private charter company has a form that allows people to request time and location of flights they want to take. Social Air will have a trip request form too, of course. The Social Air trip request form will include a few other features that are unique, however.

  • Markets and Airports – In terms of departure and arrival destinations, Members will be first be able to select markets (i.e. cities) and based on that selection will then be presented with a list of airports within that market in case they want to specify to that level
  • Social Indicator – Members will have an option to indicate what they want to do on the flight, so that other Members can interact with them (or not) accordingly

    • Working privately
    • Working with a team
  • Flexibility Indicator – The member will be able to indicate a time frame within which they can flex their schedule in order to accommodate others

The Members Portal will facilitate the social network aspect of the Membership by allowing people to share as much social information as they like.

Privacy Settings

Seat Selection

Members will be able to select their seats in advance of their flight, so Members wanting more privacy can select seats that face away from other passengers, and Members with something to discuss can ensure they are facing each other. Selecting a set will be as easy as looking at the aircraft they’ll be flying on and clicking the seat they want. If they want to discuss seating arrangements with other passengers, they can do so easily through the Member Portal.

Social Integration

The Member Portal will be fully integrated with major social networks both for customer engagement purposes as well as promotional. Members will be able to:

  • login with their Facebook, Google+ or Twitter login
  • Easily post travel itineraries to social Networks
  • Upload photos through the Members Portal and from their post them to social networks
  • Like or share information about
    • Other Members (subject to their privacy settings)
    • Trips
    • Markets
    • Airports
    • Aircraft
    • Operators
    • FBOs

Aircraft Details

As mentioned above, Members will be able to see the seating arrangements of the aircraft they will be flying on. They will also be able to see additional information about the aircraft, including:

  • Aircraft manufacturer, name and type
  • A description
  • Number of pilots
  • Year built
  • Cruising speed
  • Number of seats
  • Baggage capacity

Airport/Market Details

Members will also be able to see all relevant information about the airports and markets they will be flying into, including links to relevant websites.
