There are over 5,000 airports in the U.S. capable of supporting private jets, with major metropolitan areas having multiple airports as well. Just as with markets, it is important to find the right balance of airports to serve relative to the membership levels.
Social Air stores information about each airport which can be easily accessed through the Members-only web portal, including:
- Location/directions
- Maps
- Times of earliest and latest operation
Airports are associated with the markets in which they are located. The are also related to the FBOs that operate out of the airport. So when a Member clicks to see information about a given Airport, they will also see links to any FBOs associated with that airport.
